Dr Sunil Thakersee

Dr Sunil Thakersee is cardiologist who runs a busy general and interventional cardiac practice at Melomed Gatesville which services the Cape Flats area. Together with Melomed, he brings quality, affordable healthcare to a previously disadvantaged, underserved community.

Dr Thakersee earned his medical degree at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban in 1988. In 1995 he became a Fellow of the College of Physicians South Africa, and in 1998 he registered with the Health Professionals Council as a Specialist Cardiologist.
